yes, we are compatible with WPBakery. Yes, you can translate your portfolio items and display them depending on the country. If you don’t want an item to appear in lang X, you simply don’t translate it to that language. You can also create your portfolio item in non-primary language without its equivalent in your primary language.

WPML doesn’t do the translation on the fly. You need to translate your posts/pages/… on the backend first and then the search will return the results in the correct language. WPML also provides machine translations, you can use those as well, but your need to apply them on your backend first.

I’ve seen the video about your transfering scheme, which is really cool.
I understand the transfer must be done shortly before the expiry date of the license or as soon as I need to “release” one site so I can use the license elsewhere?
I think I’m confused about how the length of a license is measured individually, I’m not sure when is the right moment to transfer it.
I’m picturing myself needing the license for my 4th site and having to decide whether I upgrade to the Agency plan or I can release one site to take another.
Because I still don’t know if I’ll be successful I’m not too sure what’s the best/right thing to do.
Hello Eva, I think that the site “slot” should be released/available as soon as you transfer your site but let me double-check with the developer who implemented this whole transferring thing. I’ll keep you posted. You might get my reply tomorrow because I’m not sure if the dev is still online.

You can transfer your licenses as long as your subscription remains active. If your client accepts the transfer after your invitation and buys WPML and his time is being counted from the moment he bought, independently from your expiry date. I hope it helps.
If I remove the license from one site to be able to use it elsewhere, whatever has been done previously to that removal remains untouched, right? I would only need the active license in order to make further changes and/or keep the plugin properly updated?
I understand this is not ideal in the long term, for different reasons but also because I wouldn’t benefit from the license transfer scheme, but should I need to do so for a short period of time (while figuring out my situation regarding upgrading and so on), would it be ok?
Yes, you can remove the key from one site and generate a new one for another one in its place and still use WPML plugins on both. But the one without the key won’t get updates.

Hello – Regarding automatic translation costs… A site with 22,000 words to be translated would include the first 10,000 + 2,000 free, and then a $7 cost for the remaining 10,000 words. And then the site is done.
Is there still a $7 recurring monthly fee even though the content is in effect static? Or would monthly fees instead be for any additional words/content above the original 22,000? Thank you.

You will need the CMS version to translate this theme. Note we have not tested it and cannot say it will work 100%. It should work well, if it was coded following WordPress standard. If you don’t renew your subscription you will lose access to updates and support but you can keep using the files as they are installed on your site.

if a page or article has not been translated for example into the X language and a visitor chooses to see the page with that language (Χ), then what happens? will the text appear in the default language or will it be hidden? Is it possible not to translate all the content? If so, what about non-translated content? Will it be completely hidden or will it appear in the language in which it was created?
You don’t need to translate everything and WPML offers you a few options in terms of what to do with pages/posts without translations. You can hide the language switcher for those, you can redirect to the homepage or you can display the original posts instead.

You will get 10,000 words for free. For the remaining 12,000 words you will need the subscription of 7$ https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatic-translation-pricing/. The fee is paid once to translate the words, you translate only once and they remain on your site.

We are an avian pathology services and educational company “Clinical Avian Pathology Services” that does educational webinars in the US, and we are expanding our market to the Middle East. Our website is WordPress using the Highend Theme and WpBakery. We have a paid subscription membership using Paid Membership Pro, E-commerce (WooCommerce to purchase our webinars) and a Blog where the content is only available to subscribed members.
Does your plugin handle all of these aspects, And can you give us a demo? ASAP? 😊

We are compatible with the Highend Theme https://wpml.org/theme/highend/ and also with WpBakery and WooCommerce. Paid Membership Pro is not on our plugins-compatible-with-WPML list so I cannot say much about it.
I’m sorry but we don’t have a demo, you would need to buy WPML and test it yourself keeping our refund policy in mind.
will wpml auto-detect visitors language?
Yes, we have such an option but you would need to enable it in WPML settings.

Hello, I’m sorry but cannot download anything without an active subscription. You can use what you already downloaded when your subscription was active.
Is WPML compatible with Avada Theme (and Avada Theme Builder) ?
if a page or article has not been translated for example into the X language and a visitor chooses to see the page with that language (Χ), then what happens? will the text appear in the default language or will it be hidden? Is it possible not to translate all the content? If so, what about non-translated content? Will it be completely hidden or will it appear in the language in which it was created?

You don’t need to translate everything and WPML offers you a few options in terms of what to do with pages/posts without translations. You can hide the language switcher for those, you can redirect to the homepage or you can display the original posts instead.
